Guo said that the BCPE was a highlight of the 6th Beijing People Beneficial Cultural Consumption Season. He went on to express his hopes that the annual expo would assist Beijing in becoming a national center for culture.

According to Xiang, Beijing cultural relics bureau will strengthen ties with the expo, in order to improve the trading environment for cultural and creative products in Beijing –– as BCPE has served as an important trading platform for such products.

This year’s four-day expo covered an area of 13,000 square meters, attracting over 500 exhibitors from 20 countries and regions. Various pieces of traditional artwork were displayed at the expo, including engravings, embroideries, ceramic pieces and Thangka paintings.
